At Jersey Shore Skate Sharpening, we take pride in providing high-quality mobile skate sharpening services. Your satisfaction matters to us, and we want to ensure every customer has a positive experience. This Refund Policy explains when refunds may be issued and how concerns are handled.
1. Service Satisfaction Guarantee
If you are not satisfied with the sharpening you received, please contact us within 48 hours of your appointment. We will:

Offer a free re-sharpening to correct any issues

Review what you’re experiencing and make adjustments as needed
We want you to feel confident and safe on the ice, and we’ll do everything reasonable to make it right.
2. Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be granted on a case-by-case basis when:

A service was not completed as agreed

You were charged incorrectly

A confirmed appointment was canceled by us due to operational issues, and you prepaid
Refunds are not issued in the following situations:

Dissatisfaction related to normal skate wear, rust, blade damage, or issues beyond sharpening

Skates that are unsafe or damaged prior to sharpening

No-show or late cancellation fees

Services that were fully performed and met normal professional standards
If you prepaid for a service but were not present at the appointment time (no-show), the payment is non-refundable.
3. Prepaid Services
If you prepay for an appointment and need to reschedule:

You may reschedule at no charge as long as it complies with the Cancellation Policy

If you cancel within the allowed timeframe (e.g., more than 12 hours prior), your payment can be applied to a future appointment
Prepaid services are non-refundable except in situations noted in Section 2.
4. Method of Refund
Approved refunds will be issued using the original payment method, unless otherwise agreed.
Once processed, refunds may take 3–7 business days to appear on your statement depending on your bank or payment provider.
5. Promotions

Promotional discounts or offers cannot be refunded or retroactively applied to past purchases.
